Traghettamento del Grido
Quest’opera fa parte della serie Traghettamenti, in cui icone della storia dell’arte vengono attraversate e trasformate, assumendo nuovi significati nel presente. Qui, l’urlo di Munch non è più un volto deformato dall’angoscia, ma un ovale azzurro, silenzioso e sospeso: il passaggio da un dolore individuale a una forma universale e astratta. Il colore, vibrante e netto, diventa traghetto tra passato e futuro, tra memoria e nuova visione. L’intervento contemporaneo non cancella l’originale, ma lo trasfigura in una riflessione sull’identità, sul grido che oggi è muta presenza.

Ferrying the Scream
This work belongs to the Traghettamenti series, where icons from art history are crossed and transformed, gaining new meanings in the present. Here, Munch’s scream is no longer a face twisted by anguish, but a blue oval, silent and suspended: the passage from individual pain to a universal and abstract form. Color, vibrant and sharp, becomes a ferry between past and future, between memory and new vision. The contemporary intervention does not erase the original but transfigures it into a reflection on identity, on a scream that today is a mute presence.
