In quest’opera il tema della Deposizione viene trasfigurato da un’esplosione cromatica che
annulla la compostezza del sacro e lo trasforma in pura energia visiva. Il dolore diventa
luce incandescente, le figure si dissolvono in un incendio di rossi e aranci, come corpi
trascinati oltre la storia. L’opera si inserisce nel ciclo Traghettamenti, rivelando la fragilità
della memoria e la potenza del colore come atto di passaggio.
In this work the theme of the Deposition is transfigured by an explosion of colors that
dissolves the sacred composure and turns it into pure visual energy. Sorrow becomes
incandescent light, the figures vanish in a blaze of reds and oranges, like bodies carried
beyond history. The work belongs to the Traghettamenti cycle, revealing the fragility of
memory and the power of color as an act of passage.
