Uncoded Emotion – 10x non ritrae un volto, ma l’impossibilità di possedere la propria emozione. La figura è attraversata dalle barre come da un codice di controllo, mentre il balloon non appartiene al soggetto: proviene da fuori campo, dal pensiero esterno che invade l’individuo. Non è l’emozione a parlare, ma il mondo che impone un codice emotivo non decifrabile. L’opera rivela la crisi dell’identità contemporanea: ciò che proviamo non ci appartiene più, è già stato interpretato, replicato, tradotto in linguaggio visivo prima ancora che diventi esperienza interiore.

Uncoded Emotion – 10x does not portray a face, but the impossibility of owning one’s own emotion. The figure is crossed by Bars as a control code, while the speech balloon does not belong to the subject: it comes from outside the frame, from an external thought invading the individual. It is not emotion that speaks, but the world imposing an undeciphered code. The work exposes the crisis of contemporary identity: what we feel is no longer ours—it has already been interpreted, replicated, translated into visual language before it even becomes inner experience.
