La mia opera The Room Is Crowded esplora il contrasto e il paradosso della vita contemporanea. L'ambiente di un soggiorno, tipico della Pop Art americana e reso con tratti veloci e colori accesi, è "affollato" non tanto da persone, quanto da ossessioni e figure che emergono dal subconscio.
Al centro della composizione, l'emozione è congelata nel bianco e nero del volto nostalgico di un uomo anni '50 e della figura enigmatica di Biancaneve, stretta alla sua mela ipertrofica. Entrambe le figure piangono una singola lacrima, suggerendo un dolore persistente sotto la superficie patinata del Pop.
Simboli ricorrenti come le formiche nere (che rappresentano l'ossessione) e le barre nere (il mio tratto distintivo, simbolo di restrizione) rafforzano l'idea che, anche in uno spazio domestico apparentemente confortevole, la mente sia costantemente sopraffatta. L'opera è una riflessione sulla solitudine e sul peso dei simboli in un mondo saturo di immagini.

My work, The Room Is Crowded, explores the contrast and paradox of contemporary life. The living room, typical of American Pop Art and rendered with rapid strokes and bright colors, is "crowded" not so much with people as with obsessions and figures emerging from the subconscious.
At the center of the composition, emotion is frozen in the black and white of a nostalgic 1950s-era man's face and the enigmatic figure of Snow White, clutching her oversized apple. Both figures shed a single tear, suggesting a lingering pain beneath the glossy surface of Pop.
Recurring symbols such as black ants (representing obsession) and black bars (my signature, a symbol of restriction) reinforce the idea that, even in a seemingly comfortable domestic space, the mind is constantly overwhelmed. The work is a reflection on loneliness and the weight of symbols in a world saturated with images.
